Automotive Parts Inventory Planner

Industry-leading parts inventory planning company seeks a Parts Inventory Planner for a full-time position in our Taunton, MA or Palm Beach Gardens, FL office. You would be responsible for assisting dealers in managing their replacement parts inventories accomplished through use of our advanced planning software, remote connection tools and web-based order system. If you do not like working with numbers, this is not the job for you!

Additionally, if you do not have experience in AT LEAST ONE of the following areas, you will not qualify:

  • Automotive parts management and distribution
  • Automotive dealership parts department
  • Automotive OEM parts distribution

Job Responsibilities

  • Use quantitative skills to analyze data pertaining to automobile dealership's parts department inventories
  • Finding trends in large datasets
  • Developing plans to improve customers' performance and/or utilization
  • Following up with dealers regarding their action plans' for improvement

Qualifications

  • Experience with automotive-based dealer management systems (e.g. R&R, ADP, Arkona, etc)
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, Access
  • Excellent telephone communication and customer service skills
  • Must be able to maintain quality relationships with dealers around the world
  • Strong math skills
  • Able to understand forecasting software
  • Attention to detail
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Sense of urgency and accountability

Please note: This is not a sales position. Applicants must have an aptitude for accumulating and analyzing inventory data. This is not a position selling parts but instead entails analyzing numbers, providing support and assistance for our customers which primarily consist of Parts Managers using our PartsEye product, and answering questions regarding their parts operations needs.
